    Saved Game files are missing

     

    Game Version: (A21 b3xx)  b324 stable

    OS/Version: Windows

    CPU Model: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X

    System Memory: 32 GB

    GPU Model and VRAM: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX  24560 MB

    Screen Resolution: 2560 x 1440

    Video Settings: Ultra / Custom

    Game mode: MP host (SP playing)  RWG

     

    Did you wipe old saves? Yes (from previous versions)

     

    Did you start a new game? No (continued game started with latest version)

     

    Did you validate your files? Yes

     

    Are you using any mods? No

     

    EAC on

     

    Status: NEW

     

    Bug Description:

     

    Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

    1) continue a previously saved game

    2) cut power to the computer while playing

    3) restore power and reboot computer to reload saved game

     

    Actual result: (description of what is occurring)

    no saved game is listed, the folder for the saved game (xxxxx County)  is now empty

     

    Expected result: (what you expect to occur)

    saved files should remain intact

    This is not a bug. This is a computer issue when data is being written to disk and you kill the power. Your save is missing because the files were corrupted.

     

    You will want to make sure you validate your Windows OS files, as they can become corrupted in this fashion as well.

    I have a similar issue, but when I went to search for the save info in my roaming profile, all was still there. Yet I cannot see the games (one v.19.xx, the other v.21.xx)on the selection menu. Also, it asked me to make a new character or choose one from the list.
