  • Mouse Not Completely Working

    Summary: When starting the game, I have to double-click the left mouse button to make any selections. When the game starts, I cannot use the mouse to look up, down, left, or right. I am using a Logitech G502 Hero and it works fine everywhere else.  This is happening when I use the GLcore and the Metal Renderer.

    CPU Model: Mac Studio, M1 Max

    Did you start a new game? Yes

     

    Did you validate your files? Yes

     

    Are you using any mods? No

     

    EAC on or off? On

     

    Status: NEW

     

    Bug Description:

     

    Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

    1)Start the Game

    2)Try to click "join game" you have to double-click to get to the server selection screen

    3)

     

    Actual result: Nothing works when trying to single-click on any menu items

     

    Expected result: Menu item to be selected on single click.

    I am having the same problem on my Windows 11 Pro using and  using a Logitech G502 Hero.

    OS/Version: Windows 11 Pro for workstations

    Game mode: This happens when building a base  and laying down blocks.

    Bug Description: I have to quit the game and then Continue my game and it works for a while but then does it again after about 20 minutes.

    Sorry to post here,

    but this looks rather like the loss of focus on a window than an issue with mouse,

    give it a try in windowed mode and look if the window looses focus while you're not clicking the mouse button.

    I figured it out is was using my desktop profile instead of the 7D2D Profile in the Logitech hub.  The Logitech G Hub software has a lot to be desired, It flakes out at least once a week on any given game.

    I'm going to save you a ton of trouble, uninstall G-Hub and get this instead:

    Same functionality but it's better, way more lightweight and functions properly. Idk why, but it seems Logitech decided to get drunk and make G-Hub and act like it doesn't exist, but the Gaming Software works wonderfully.
