RWG making some really crazy maps.

I have left out some of the fields (Such as PCU) because i simply dont have the information from my serverhost.


Summary: RWG is creating some very crazy maps

 

Game Version: A20

Platform: PC

System Memory: 10GB

Game mode: MP Host at Serverblend

 

Did you wipe old saves? Yes

Did you start a new game? Yes

Are you using any mods? No

EAC on or off? Off

 

Status: NEW

 

Bug Description: When trying to generate maps using RWG on my server (Hosted by Serverblend) i ran into the problem that everything would be spikes and the whole world is covered by water. 

 

Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

 

1) Create Random 8k generated world using a random phrase as a seed

 

 

Actual result: The world generated after 20 minutes and was in both cases covered by spikes and underwater.
Both maps had the same appearance.

 

Expected result: Generating working world.

We'd need an outputlog and the mapinfo to reproduce it.

Ill try making a new world on the host now. Ill get the log and mapinfo from that. 
I dont have the info from the other two because i tried uploading a map instead and the server was wiped (Which also didnt work hehe)

Very well may be issues with files on your server provider's end, try reverifying those files or reinstall it.

If the 8k map im generating now is also broken ill give that a go. Thx for the suggestion

I hope that covers everything. Im going to ask the serverhost for a complete reinstall.

Complete reinstall on serverhost side and verifying the gamefiles on my end didnt work. Just generated a new map that did the same thing.

Scratch that. My serverhost decided to just do a new map instead of reinstalling as i asked -.-

Oof yeah it sounds like you have some bad files or something of the sorts from the provider's end.

After finally getting the server completely reinstalled the world generated as expected.
