  • installation_red_mesa has unlootable mirror

    Summary: installation_red_mesa has closed mirrors but are not lootable (does not give prompt to loot when hovered over)

     

    Game Version: Alpha 20.3 b3

    Platform: PC

    OS/Version: Windows 10

    CPU Model: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6300HQ CPU @ 2.30GHz

    System Memory: 8GB

    GPU Model and VRAM: AMD Radeon R9 M275X (4075MB?)

    Screen Resolution: 1280x720

    Video Settings: Potato (Lowest)

    Game mode: SP

     

    Did you wipe old saves? Not since A20.0

    Did you start a new game? Yes

    Did you validate your files? Yes

    Are you using any mods? No

    EAC on or off? On

     

    Status: NEW

     

    Bug Description:

     

    Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

     

    1) Go to installation_red_mesa

    2) Make you way down until you get to the area with a bunch of bunk beds connected to a big bathroom/shower area

    3) Check the mirrors (if they are broken, find a different one and repeat)

     

    Actual result: These mirrors aren't lootable even though they aren't broken

    Expected result: Expected mirrors that are not broken to be lootable, similar to this issue:

    The wall mirrors are not loot containers,  the medicine cabinets are.

    In the case of the cube blocks painted as cabinets,  it was misleading,  so it was considered a bug,  but in this case,  I believe it is intended.

    chikorina is correct. the mirrors are just that, they are mirrors and not lootable containers like the medicine cabinet beside the sinks there.

    Thank you Joe.  Yes,  there are also the medicine cabinets that look very much like the mirrors.  The lootable cabinet ones are a bit thicker than the unlootable mirrors.

    I will be moving this to the not a bug category.
