On my linux machine vulkan worked but it felt like I was wading through molasses until I turned off VSYNC. After that it was smooth sailing. Does this sound similar to your experience?

Can confirm. Turning VSYNC off makes things much better. But still slaggish. For example: in inventory the highlighting yellow square lags behind the actual cursor. Changing full screen  yes/no help for a little bit, but then it's the same lag. Or even worse. FPS doesn't change, and stays in the reasonable range (70+).

I'll have to try with the vsync off. I can tell you it worked mostly find in single player mode, but joining a server it crashed several times for me. Another player on the Salty servers I've helped before (his dad insists on no windows apparently, only Linux) younger person, was actually not able to play at all using vulkan. He switched to GLcore and it runs like crap, but it runs.

Just an indication, but but joining a server while using vulcan also crashed my client. Since it was the first join to this server it also broke my starter quest. In the second try i joined with GLCore, but had no starter quest, but at least it worked. Since it was my first join anyway, i deleted my char on the server and joined again (with GLCore) and it worked from this point.

Had some further tries. Was not able to join the server when using vulcan. It did not crash, but completely hangs while joining (i killed it after several minutes of waiting).

    In singleplayer vulcan works.

No idea how using vulcan for graphics could affect joining a server, but obviously it does.

Are there any details on what "not fully supported" means? What could we expect, what not?
