    Bug Description:

Wolfs, Bears and Dogs are able to climb blocks of type ("class") "ladder" (specifically shapes "trellisSquare").

Since A20, there are a multiple blocks available to the player that have the functionality of "vertical climb". In previous alphas, those blocks were only available through the creative menu or by modding. Nowadays, they can be freely used everywhere.

I suspect the functionality of the "CanClimbLadders" attribute being implemented as a specific condition against the original player made ladder blocks, not as a general means of blocking the traversal of blocks with the general "vertical climb" functionality (alias "class"="Ladder").

In the video linked below, you can see first a bear, then after a few minutes a pack of dogs, then a few minutes later a second pack of dogs climb the blocks of shape "trellisSquare"...

I don't have details about the canclimbladders field like you do though
