Bug Description:
PlayStation button icons:
They do appear when launching game in Big Picture Mode, but do not appear when launching the game normally from desktop. Many (most?) people do not like using big picture mode. Also when using 'steam input' the PS icons do not appear in any mode. Steam input is very useful for customizing the controller beyond what the game provides. Also some 3rd party PlayStation-style controllers use Xbox-style internals.
In game: Option > Controller > Layout
∴ when you change your layout to PlayStation ("Dualshock 4") then the button icons should change too. Users should be allowed to choose.
∴ I think the choice should be 'PlayStation style" because my PS5 controller is not DualShock 4 but DualSense.
Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:
1) use steam controller input
2) launch 7D2D any way, big-picture or not
3) regardless if you select: Options > Controller > Layout > 'Dualshock 4' or not
Actual result: (description of what is occurring)
PlayStation button icons do not appear
Expected result: (what you expect to occur)
Players should be able to choose PlayStation layout and then see PlayStation button icons in setting and in in-game tutorials.
