    Players signs with added text placed in a POI in the POI Editor and brought to a World through RWG do not retain text information. Console/Log errors are also evident.

    Bug Description:

    When creating a small test POI in the Prefab Editor, a player sign was placed and text was added. When bringing the POI into an RWG, the text did not show and errors appeared in the console and log.

     

    Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

    1) Create a custom POI in the Prefab Editor with a player sign with text applied. Make the POI in the current b326

    2) Create an RWG with the POI hooked up to appear in the Wilderness.

    3) Observe the player signs at the POI location.

     

    Actual result: (description of what is occurring)

    The signs display no text.

     

    Expected result: (what you expect to occur)

    It has been customary for text to remain during this process.

    Appreciate your taking the time and effort to do a proper bug report with all of the needed information. The Player signs are not meant to be used in the editor and text written on them can not be carried over into game. These signs save their text to the save, not the POI data, not a bug.

    I was able to make a new POI with signs as well as modify an existing POI with a few signs in V1.0 B326.
    I generated several RWG maps without issue.

    Please make sure to verify your files through Steam and try a new map.

    Ah! Looks like the missing component to the repro was to shutdown the game and restart the save.

    Confirmed and will be reported. Thanks for your report!
