Infinite Loading screen at main menu

Hello, I've seen the other threads on the subject but nothing is working.

After the pimps logo, it says "loading main menu" and just hangs forever.

Using windows 10, I've tried:

- different directx launch options

- removing appdata folder

- administrator mode for the 32 and 64 bit game exes and launcher

- cleaning registry and everything using launcher

- replacing main 32 bit exe with 64 bit exe

- switching between 32 bit and 64 in launcher

- using openGL

- installing EAC from the setup in the game folder

- running without EAC

- validate game files

Same issue.

I see this line a lot in the logs, I guess I'll try to

Failed to load 'U:/SteamLib/steamapps/common/7 Days To Die/7daystodie_Data/Plugins/CSteamworks.dll' with error 'The specified procedure could not be found.

'.

But I verify that the file is there. All users have read permissions on it too.

NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

at NGuiWdwInfoPopup.Update () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

I don't know what this error is, but those are the two errors that appear in the logs. There are misc success messages before the errors.

Hope you've looked at the sticky threads...

Speccy report?

Crash Logs?

Any logs?!?

<Submitted 5 days ago without anything really>

Didn't know there was different directx launch options... From what I see in the launcher window - there are only a few options... So donno about that.

Yikes... Removed appdata folder? The entire folder? Or just the 7DTD part?!?

I think you need to stop and step back... Or tell the whole story. On the surface it looks like you're trying to do somethings not intended.

Full report would be better... I'd guess you might want to start all over since you deleted the appdata folder and/or tried a bunch of things and they all didn't work...

Uninstall 7 Days to Die and then try again (not sure where that CSteamworks.dll is from but it looks like its part of Unity (unless you manually installed it, then you're on your own)).

All you really need to do is to load steam and then 7days to die... This was an issue back in Alpha 16.2 or so...
