GermanPatriot Posted December 28, 2017 Share Posted December 28, 2017 Hello Survivors, I suppose this has already been mentioned a million times but there is still the problem that the game is way too dark. This is not a problem in several bioms but especially in maple and pine forest biome it becomes a real problem due to the dark grass and all the trees. Buildings unfortunately appear almost completely black when not lit by the sunlight. Also the time of day does not really matter, the environment keeps very dark even during noon time. Ingame time was mostly between 10 am and 2 pm when I took the photos. I will post them if possible. By the way, I did not change any video settings on my TV. The photos were taken by using the camera of my mobile phone. Cheers, Ro Hello Ro_7DTD, thank you for replying to the issue I pointed out. One thing you should need to know is that the game becomes brighter when the environment is foggy. That leads to the weird situation that it is easier to see enemies coming for the player from the distance than at noon time because many plants, trees and buildings are darker than they would be in a foggy night.
