My friend can't see my server

My friend and I cannot see each other's servers on the list. My friend tried with Xbox GamePass and I tried with Steam, but it did not work. Then I bought the game from GamePass. When one of us starts a new game, the other one cannot see the server and cannot enter it. Can you help please?

Crossplay isn't supported yet. It is supposed to be coming in the next big update which is scheduled for sometime before the end of the year if they can deliver on time.

 

Xbox consoles also cannot join servers yet. The only option for console right now is person to person hosting and both people have to be on the same platform.

 

Once crossplay is enabled, xbox players will be able to join the dedicated online servers that PC gamers currently use.

No it's not cross my friend, we are trying to play from pc gamepass but we can't see our servers.

 

We want to play on PC, but the servers we set up appear in our lists.

Make sure your server is visible, if you are attempting to look for it in the server lists. You can also connect to the server via IP Address as well. The configuration is below:

This will be located in your server configuration file serverconfig.xml. Just change the value from 0 to 1 or 2.

The problem is that when my friend or I set up a server, the server is visible but we get the error that the connection to the server could not be established. When we try to access with the IP address, we get the same error again.
