Updated to V1.0, now no one can connect to server

Dedicated server:

Server version: V 1.0 (b333) Compatibility Version: V 1.0
Dedicated server only build

Slackware 15.0, 5.15.145 kernel.

96GB free disk space

 

Clients are both Windows and Linux, V1.0 (b333) They try to connect, it sits there for a minute, and says "Could not retrieve server information". If I watch the server console, there is zero activity when this is going on.

 

Yesterday it was working fine with multiple players in the server. Today I updated to v1.0, and now no one can connect. My router has not changed. serverconfig.xml settings carefully copied from the previous version, same ports, etc. I have OP4 servers and minecraft server running on same box, and those run fine and people connect to them just fine.

 

I've seen others complaining about this. Has anyone here experienced this and have a fix?

Fixed. The previous Alpha required SteamNetworking as a disabled network protocol, or no one could connect. With V1, I had to remove that, or no one could connect. Weird. Go figure.
