ERR [NET] Unknown package type NetPackageExplosionParams, can not proceed connecting to server

Hello,

I have been trying to connect to my friends local games where we all run the same version alpha 21.1(b16) with DistrictZero1.1.1, but I have been getting this error.

ERR [NET] Unknown package type NetPackageExplosionParams, can not proceed connecting to server

I did a temporary disabling of my firewall, antivirus, and I also reinstalled the game and verified.  When I try to join friends games I get 'unexpected data received. Server is running an incompatible version or requires client to install mods.', but when friends join me we are able to play in the same world.  Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
