Recovering a save game ?

So I had a power cut in the middle of playing.

Eventually got back on to find my save games gone or not showing up on the load screen.

They are still saved in the roaming profile saves and a couple of additional files saying loadfailed.

Is there any way of recovering the saved game to get it running again ?

 

Edit: Have checked the support thread on this subject...didn't work so looks like I will start over
