So I had a power cut in the middle of playing. Eventually got back on to find my save games gone or not showing up on the load screen. They are still saved in the roaming profile saves and a couple of additional files saying loadfailed. Is there any way of recovering the saved game to get it running again ? Edit: Have checked the support thread on this subject...didn't work so looks like I will start over

Nah just standalone on my local machine.....no big deal really.....just wondered if it was an ongoing issue Well pain in the ass tbh lol.....wiped out my entire stock of level 6 batteries lol....

So I just logged on and all my electrical wiring is gone and all of the batteriesand engines that were being used or charged have gone also...just vanished lol. Known issue or wtf moment ?

I pretty much set up in one area and based my questing off one trader so far. I assumed (wrongly) that when you advanced in tiers of quests that was with every trader. Went to get a quest off another trader and can only get tier one quests. If I choose to work my way up with another trader would I also get the tier completion rewards again from that trader ?

Thanks guys Yeah I know there are other considerations with heavy/light....noise, movement etc Question was based purely on damage resistance. Thanks again for the answers.

Light armor rating 10 heavy armor rating 10 Is there any difference between heavy and light or do they offer the same amount of protection ?

Well using the Auger seems to get them buzzed...just found that out

I had that once on a buried supplies quest...tier 2 or 3 ithink.....2 bears and 6 dogs spawned....I didn't last long lol Just on a custom standalone map

Still getting nothing here. 4 forges going all night plus constant mining....not one showed up. Usually get a steady flow of them....... Oh tell a lie....one coyote decided to show up.......but am not even in a desert biome....

Things have gone very quiet with the latest patch. I am burning everything I can and mining but not one screamer is incoming. Anyone else getting the same ?

Yeah doing most of those things at once tends to stir them up a bit.....

Are heat signatures masked by being underground or if they are surrounded by concrete blocks or do they give the same signature out to screamers regardless of that ?

Ah sorry I mean't the crops in question I was talking about I am growing in farm plots that I have made. Thanks for the awesome explanation tho and yes it does make total sense that you have to invest more points into LOTL now to create a thriving farm. A pretty decent change by the Devs tbh Have just invested my 3rd point in it so things should start working a bit better Yep just to confirm huge difference with 3 points now invested in LOTL

Yep I was referring to farming from the farm plots you make Plants are all grown in farm plots. So my understanding of Living off the Land is that without it you get 1 crop per plant. 1 point doubles that to two and then a further point gives a 50% chance each harvest to get a 3rd crop. Which gives 3 at most ? Ah just been ingame and checked that and did get 4-5 crops per plant again with very few seeds but looks like its just a numbers game rather than a guaranteed like it used to be.....putting that 3rd point in LOTL would really make it work well.
