seanp268
So I created a map to play with some friends. No problem, been having a blast. Decided to try and play around with the random map generator to see if I could get some cool layouts. Unbeknown to be, this overwrites your save file region data??? Firstly, is there a way to recover the old overwritten maps? Any way at all? Please, am I misunderstanding something or is it completely broken, we've put a lot of work into that map. Can't recover previous version the usual way, is it just moved elsewhere? I can't find this topic ANYWHERE having some kind of, I don't know, WARNING would be somewhat helpful here. Beelzybub
If you use the same seed name in the map generator, it can overwrite a map with the same name. This bug was reported and confirmed here: Not sure about current status, but I assume it's being worked on.
seanp268
Thanks good to know. Regardless, I'll probably keep a map backup for now on in a separate place...
