Game from steam trying to log into epicgame?

I can't seem to play my game unless it logs into epicgames which I don't have a account for and won't ever have one guess my question is why should I have to get a epicgames account to be able to play?

For A20, EOS(Epic Online Services) is software that will 7 Days to offer cross platform playing. You do not need an account but it must be active for the game to work. It does create a EOS number similar to your steam ID and, in fact, is associated with it. It’s all about allowing pc and consoles to play the game together. Google EOS epic and you’ll get all the info you want on its functionality.

That's good and all but when my game doesn't allow me to play what's the point?

Probably best you post your log file using pastebin. EOS may not even be your Problem. However, EOS must run in order for the game to play. I’m assuming by your words in your first post you tried disabling EOS……you can’t do that if you want to play the game.

No I just looked at the log it said something about being locked out of epic games
