When i jump into a new server it downloads the map to 100% then hangs. Do i need to uninstall old files somewhere or something? Having trouble finding a guide. Depending on the speed of your internet connection, distance to the server, size of the map, and power of your PC, it can take a couple of minutes to connect to a new server. Connections after that first one are a lot faster. Like for my 16k map test, the first connection takes almost 17 minutes. Afterwards it's only about 2 minutes. Most 8k maps take about 5-8 minutes on that first connection, and only about 40 seconds afterwards. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
