TheSpydyr
Anyone else having this issue. I am using the app_update 294420 and it say my files are up to date, but when I start my server it is still saying I am in 17 and won't let anyone connect that is up to date with 17.1. ghettochild2600
Anyone else having this issue. I am using the app_update 294420 and it say my files are up to date, but when I start my server it is still saying I am in 17 and won't let anyone connect that is up to date with 17.1. Try logging into SteamCMD and run "app_update 294420 -validate -beta latest_experimental" That worked for me.
TheSpydyr
thanks for the answer...tried that and still not working. Thinking I need to blow the whole folder structure away and start fresh and see if that fixes it.
TheSpydyr
Update, I did figure out my issue, I wasn't doing the force install to have the files in the folder location path where my install was located be the actual files that got updated. Once I restarted the steamcmd and ran the force_install_dir first, everything ran as expected and had no issues
