  1. Thanks for clarifying what was causing this. The bug happened while I was playing on the official TS server. My character is a fitness instructor which happen to have a perk that double the "hold your breath" underwater countdown. Not sure if this is related. Guess I'll have to... well, die to fix this. What is strange though is that I do not remember going in/underwater during that play session. At least not during the last 15 minutes.
  2. Hello, Just reporting that, like others may have experienced, there is a bug with some containers were, after opening them, you get hurt (or affected by "drowning" in my case). I haven't found out how to reproduce this exactly but all that I can say is that the problem is there. Last time it happened to me, I was looting a building kitchen and all of a sudden, weird sound like my guts are hurting and then I start drowning. HP dropped quickly to < 35 before I quickly closed the game... Update: Ok, So I am stuck in a "drowning" state... When I log back in the game, there is a countdown showing "Can't Breathe" then I start suffocating. I am not in water. I am in a building. This should definitively not be happening... The mod is hard enough without having to deal with game breaking issues like that. Could this be a vanilla problem? Anyone heard or was affected by this before?
  3. Spider, Should we report missing icons for items or you are aware of them and will add new ones in future update? I also humbly request a character reset: SteamID -> 76561198023785211
  4. I tried what daydark said... Without success. My understanding is that the mod and the game are currently in an unstable state which may requires: 1 - A specific install order. Starting from scratch does not work for me. So I suspect perhaps one needs to start with 16.0 then 16.1 then 16.2 then 16.3 then back to 16.2... Files are missing otherwise as stated by Deven in the first post of the previous page. I can confirm this. Steam "validation" does not download the missing file. 2 - Using the "manual" SP/MP version of the files provided by Spider on the first page of this thread does not work. Just extracting the archive over the game files (while respecting structure of course) cause the game to hang while loading the menu stating an error related to "potatoes" and the file "Blocks.xml" 3 - 7D2D Launcher is unstable for me. Version 1.0.3.13 only starts correctly the first time after a fresh install. Further attempts at starting does nothing. Cursor flash briefly and the app do not load. To fix it, I have to uninstall and reinstall it. Then repeat this process... 4 - The "manual" version of 7D2D Launcher provided by the third option on the app thread is an older version (1.0.2.x). This version can be run without problem on my system (closing and restarting) but attempting the install the mod with it does not work: It download the files then hang there until closed via the task manager. Closing it via the upper right "x" just close the window but the actual process stays active consuming 1 core of processing power until terminated. Attempting to restart the whole process does the same thing. 5 - A specific Windows version. I run Windows 10 64 bit version 1607... 6 - Specific dependencies not provided by the game or 7D2D Launcher. 7 - Specific services not activated by 7D2D Launcher. 8 - Specific files and folders NTFS security permission. 9 - Specific folder structure. For example, everything must be on C drive or in a specific folder possibly without space character in the name and/or no dynamic NTFS links. All in all, the results are the same: The game either hang while loading the main menu or at "Waiting for server..." and the console pop up with error messages related to "potatoes" and the file "Blocks.xml". I was able to play once on the test server of True Survival when the latest version of the game was still A16.2. Vanilla game starts fine though the message in point 1 is still present. I have hope that the kinks can be fixed in future release of the mod/7D2D Launcher. I give up for now unless someone can come up with a solution in the mean time. I may try other things in the near future but, due to my 1995 internet connection, doing a fresh install of the game with the mods takes a little under 8 hours. Not exactly what I would call simple and fast.
  5. OK so I'm back to vent some of my frustration and get some help. Why is that installing this mod is now a f*ck*ng rocket science!? I tried several things and none of them works. The game hang with the console open when loading the menu showing some errors regarding the blocks.xml file. First of all, I started with a verified via Steam installation of A16.2. I then downloaded the manual package from this post first page. I copied everything from the package where it should be based on folders names. Then I start the game directly via the executable without EAC. Game hang at menu... Secondly, after reverting back via Steam to a fresh A16.2. I tried installing via 7D2D Mod Launcher version 1.0.3.13. I don't particularly like this "app" but I went with it anyway. Since I had the True Survival package unzipped already, I used the option "open local file" in 7D2D Mod Launcher and pointed it at the config.XML from the unzipped TS package. Nothing happened... What exactly am I doing wrong here? Every previous version of this mod worked just fine by copying over the files from the archive to the game dir... The link for the "open URL" method was removed from the first page so I assume this is no longer needed. Please, someone help me!
  6. OK so, I managed to properly setup the mod and join the server. Very cool map from what I have seen so far. Reporting two non critical issues: 1 - Human Turd, which can now be found in bird nest, should be renamed to something more appropriate. First time I scavenged through a nest and saw that, I was under the impression that another player left it there as a joke... 2 - When Bone sheev reach zero durability and break, the console pop up with an error. Simply closing it will resume normal playing.
  7. Hello Spider. Hello Everyone. Long time fan of this mod. Keep it up. I decided today to get back in A16.2 with True Survival. I followed the install instruction correctly using 7D2D Mod Launcher. Now, I cannot start a game on the current server. "Waiting for server..." is displayed for a few seconds then the console pop up and prints some errors: 2017-08-29T22:45:09 33.536 INF StartAsClient 2017-08-29T22:45:09 33.536 INF Sending RequestToEnterGame... 2017-08-29T22:45:09 33.542 INF StartGame done 2017-08-29T22:45:16 40.876 INF Received config file 'materials' from server.
