    Simple deleting the whole line/area specific to the entity you do not want to spawn will remove it from appearing.

     

    The top half is for regular game play and there are not too many to remove.

    The bottom half is for Horde Night and does actually contain a lot but using an editor such as Notepad++ will allow you to remove large batches of text at any one time. The top half is a 5-10 minute activity. The bottom half depends on if you are familiar with batch deletions.


    So I basically removed the lines for the zombies I didn't want (any zombie not in the original first batch of the mod, and the entire Bloodmoon lines of code...  Will this work or will this glitch out the mod? Am I even making sense? I'm not good at this stuff.

  2. So I have a question that doesn't have to do with coding, errors, permissions etc...

    It's the 10K-65K vs. God Mode question.
    These stacks apply ACROSS THE BOARD - for EVERYTHING. So lets use bullets for an example. There you are - about to go full Rambo during Bloodmoon. You pick a nice spot, load your modded M60 with 25345K bullets to spare and start firing, stopping every few to reload. Everything dies, while you're watching a movie. Down the street.

    My point is - aren't these stacks basically God Mode? 30K stacks of EVERYTHING. One guy on my server wants me to install it and I keep saying no because it's basically God Mode. He calls it "quality of life". Quality of Life to ME - is being able to sit and lay down like Valheim or getting a resting buff while in your home...

    Can I get an opinion on this?

    I downloaded the Free Lunch mod but don't know/can't tell if this is server side only or needs a client side install? I didn't see that covered anywhere. Can you let me know if this is server side or client side or both? I'm looking for only SERVER side mods so I can install and go...  No player needs to worry about it on their end.

  5. I wish you guys could/would add whether these are server side or client side (or both or whatever)...  I have a Dedicated server and trying to find mods that are ONLY server side so I can install them on the server and be done with it for the game.

  6. I don't know if this was asked - I didn't see it. Forgive me if it was. Are these MODS server side only or does the player need them install them as well (client side I guess?) in order to use them? I have a Dedicated Server and looking for ONLY server side mods.

    When I tested the loot drop rate on the citizenship card from the zombie lootbags, I was seeing something around 30% drop rate.. so I'm a bit surprised to see you indicate that it's dropping on every single bag. I'll take a second look at this today and recalculate the real-world drop rate again.

    It's fine. I like starting over and exploring and taking all the game experience with me into the new seed. I'll find out as I go about the looting and all that jazz as I progress into this new seed. I did delete some other mods though that I didn't necessarily need/want so hopefully that alleviates some of the issues. We'll see.

     

  8. So I did something - maybe not knowing what I was doing.
    If you want to update a mod - how do you do that? I (re)downloaded the mod for the White River and replaced my existing files. It dropped me back to level 1, as well as my game stage to level 1 and erased all the skill points I have gotten and all the books (recipes/schematics) I have read. One thing it did do - is now when loot from mobs drop - there is ALWAYS  a green White River Citizenship card in the loot bag. I have like 10 of them already...  I think that might have been an unintended bug to the new updates to this mod?

    So anyway - I took my experience gain to 300% because I feel like I was jipped out of everything and since my base is still intact and basically a level 60+ base it's not like I'm going to be upgrading it anymore...

    Hell at THIS point I might just start a completely new seed. I dunno. All the loot I'm getting now is back to beginner levels.
    ...meh. These mods are awesome but also not...
    But without them 7 Days To Die is basically over after 7 days 😕

    New seed might not be so bad I guess since I'm basically at level 1 all over again anyway.

    I have about 40 assorted mods running from all different creators. But I have done these quests before - and have gotten the Trader reward crates and been able to open them before. It's all of a sudden that I can't... Let me try to think to my recent mods installed and see if anything might be causing a conflict...

  11. White River Tools of Citizenship A19.6

    So one thing I am all of a sudden seeing is:

     

    When I complete a quest for them - and you get the crates...  I have busted open the crates to loot the boxes - and the boxes are NON-INTERACTIVE. I don't know what's causing this all of a sudden. But it's not just that - I went to do the quest for the red gear (Kauva or whatever) and when I found the location, dug down to reveal the chest to open - it was ALSO non-interactive....

    Has this happened to anyone else or is there a fix for it?

  12. Anyone remember how to start the Spirit of Vengeance quest (kill the big demon)? I started it and started fighting him but ran out of bullets - so took off back to my base to stock up on more bullets and when I returned he wasn't there anymore. So I abandoned the quest and forgot what I need to start it again...

    Like materials or something or a letter or...?

    Nevermind - I figured it out. I forgot about creating the different quests cards that reward you the Elite/Veteran cards etc which gives you different quest choices. I'm doing the 1000 zombie quest again. Going to load up on 7.62 bullets, Recog and Fort Bites next time...  He's going down NEXT TIME...

    ...so with this jeep - beware the storage!!  I loaded this jeep up so I can go to the Traders and sell - logged out and when I came back all my items from the jeep disappeared...

  14. So I have a question regarding mostly Humanoid Guards.

    When I place the tiles down - sometimes they poop instantly and sometimes they don't pop at all and if I run over the tile it breaks and a few feathers fall. So my question is when I place the tile and nothing happens - does that mean they will pop when something comes within threat range or does that mean they are broken and will never pop?

    Forcing the quest is generally a bad idea, for future reference. Quests are very picky about things in mods. One tiny change could result in a complete wipe in your character data (which is why i'm up to test world number 480 on the mod i'm working on now...). So for future reference, for your games sake I wouldn't recommend that. Lol.

    Sorry you're having issues with mods conflicting. If you'd like to post your output log, I can take a little look and see if I'm able to pinpoint the conflict.

    ...meh it's all good. I understand now what you're saying about having so many different mods in my game but they make it so fun because the majority of them DO work perfectly. I love the Guard mod so far.

    Anyway thanks for the info - hopefully others will be able to read this and maybe get some understanding into issues they might be experiencing...

    ...wow okay. Well I have like 40 mods installed truthfully...  Like I have almost all the A19 mods that enhance the game and add fun things to do and explore because otherwise (for me) there is no point in really playing past the 7 day Blood Moon...  But the Mansion doesn't work as intended, the Horses never showed up anywhere that I could find, the Mead Hall (not sure who owns that one - would have to look it up) never showed up (yet)...

    I forced the quest through the command you listed but that didn't do anything either even when I got the key and crafted the Stone Axe. So I basically just broke the wall down next to the door and walked in, killed some ghosts and holy hell...  There's a million wall safes. At this point since nothing works it just becomes another POI to loot I guess because I'm tired of starting a new random map after I get so far in the game...

    ...meh.

I'm wondering if it's just that 2nd spot as well because I was able to make them earlier when they landed in the first spot and make a Jeep (mod).

    EDIT: (8-20-2021): So I went back today just to see if it was still stuck in that 2nd slot and it was BUT...............................................

    I accidentally hit my ESCAPE button - went back in and clicked on it and all of a sudden it released into my inventory (both). So woohoo :)

    I LOVE this mod by the way. It's just such a cool concept. That little technical difficulty scared me a little because they cost a lot to make but so happy now so HELL YEAH :)

    So I downloaded this and installed on a restart random. Finally found one of them in the Forest Biome.     my guess is that if you posted your solo game log file the error would be in there, but an option would be to Try starting up your solo game with the mods. As soon as you choose the game and “start” it, where you get the screen where it’s giving you game tips while it loads, hit F1 and the console will pop up. You might see the same error in red or yellow occur. 

    No it doesn't - I run F1 always when loading so I see the logs as the game starts up. It ONLY happens when trying to join...

    First, everything is fine when either of you run a solo game.  That means the mods loaded in correctly (assuming you are not getting any errors and just missing them when reporting out the issue).

     

    Then when you try to join their game, you get the errors.  When they join your game, they get the errors.  In each case, the host server is expecting a specific version of each file to be loaded.  When the other client joins in, it doesn't have it so it starts to get the error messages.

     

    However, this is all speculation as we don't have the log files of both computers to look at.

     

    Information on how to report errors, should help you in this case

    Yeah that's what I was thinking. I figured since it was coming from my computer - maybe something somewhere in the files/folder just isn't translating right... I told him the best thing to do was to download the mods I have - from the mod site directly and install them because that takes my files/folders out of the equation completely...

    But the error logs - are exactly the same. I took a screenshot of both and they are identical entries exactly. I also tried to find the Entry ID 355 and see what that was but I can't find it anywhere. I did find a Entry ID list - but it was grossly incomplete so whatever it is - is probably on that list but not labeled.

    So I dunno...  Does anyone actually play modded games together or do people only play unmodded games?

    I have a question about mods to 7 Days To Die A19.6

    So I have a ton of mods in my solo game and I told my friend to join my game. So I had him grab all the mods that I'm using in MY game so he could copy them, over to HIS game in the Mods folder. Then he loaded the game and got THIS error, repeating forever:

    Exception: Duplicate lootlist entry with entry id 355

    ERR XML loader: Loading and parsing " failed

     

    So then he started his own solo game and I tried to join him and got the same errors on my side.

    So why do the mods work perfectly in my solo game, and they work perfectly in his solo game, but when we try to join each other's game - we get those errors...

    I don't know how to submit a screenshot/image here.
    Please assist?

    Okay so I deleted my savegame, created a new game on the custom Blackjack map. Most of the mods work fine - it's just a few (probably the ones that require a 'restart' but all this before I just read this new comment.  So if I understand correctly...

    The custom Blackjack map won't work for mods that need a restart - I need to create a randomly generated NEW map from the game itself for this stuff to be activated? Custom maps won't work because they are already "created" basically?

    Sorry - not the most techy person in the World. My other question regarding this - if I load those mods - and then create a new randomly generated World, the random creation will pull the info from the mods (for the Mead Hall, Mansion, Horses, etc) while it's creating the game right?

  23. By "restart" that is to say you need to start completely over? I play the custom Blackjack map and while some mods work others don't seem to work like the horses, Mead Hall, the Mansion, the Pigs and new/varied zombies (not sure if that was yours)... Most work instantly...
