Maybe we shouldn't be asking who Kuosimodo, but what Kuosimodo is. Maybe Kuosimodo is all of us.

Kuosimodo is missing a grand tolling opportunity, though, could make a forum post but only have a 😆in the post body. I would sanction it.

    Please see page 8.

  2. Are the zombies supposed to be able to push you as easily as they do? I've been pushed from one end of a hallway to the other. I've been pushed off a roof by Arlene when she stumbled towards me after a power attack to the face(shouldn't they stumble away or to the side?). I was also pushed through the wall by three Z's in the Bottomless Barrel Buffet.

You get honey from stumps. Stumps are a plenty out in nature. You should get 1 honey in at least 10 stumps chopped down.

In any case I'd chose the helmet light mod, as that is a long time reward while the antidote is a one time use, and disease goes away if you die anyway and dying isn't that big of a deal as long as you're not on a quest and have a bedroll placed nearby.

This in no way resembles my experience. Apparently, bees were wiped out by the virus in my world.

  4. The baton and turret perks.

    Heavy armor.

    Brawler.

    Iron gut.

    Pain tolerance.

    Well Insulated.

    Treasure hunter.

    (dis)Honorable mention...

Tracking, master chef, lockpicking(hate the way picking works). These might get one point.

Cooking usually gets one point unless I find a good enough recipe early on.

There are more that I'm forgetting .

I'm a huge fan of the Henry 45-70 rifle.  It's an old world classic.  I am not sure if I've even seen the revolver, but if I do, I'd consider it.

    ...

    Magnum Research has a line called BFR(Biggest Finest Revolver). It is available in .30/30, .444, .450, .45/410, .45/70, .460 and .500.

Yeah, I know this pain.  I've fired a real .44 revolver before and the animation for this in game is just.. frighteningly unrealistic.

I want to see a S&W 500 in the game. Unless you are Scott, there should be a noticeable delay between shots.

You do whatever you want, that's the point. Sometimes you want to build something, sometimes you want to clear a POI full of zimbies, sometimes you just want to kill a few zombies, sometimes you just want to dig some treasures. There is a million things you can do when the friggin' zombies are not pushing you around.

How dare you choose to play the game the way you enjoy most! Degenerate!

  8. I agree with calling it tedious. All of the slowing down of the early game did not raise difficulty, it just made it take longer(tedious). I get that some people like it, but some of us don't. I am a habitual restarter in almost every game I play. This slowing down of the early game has sapped a lot of my enjoyment out of the game. I don't play anywhere near as often as I used to. And before someone comes in with the obligatory 'learn to adapt' or 'git gud', I have adapted to the changes and don't find the game too difficult. I just don't enjoy it anywhere near as much as I used to. Just my opinion, I know many have a different one.

Stone tools and weapons shouldn't be in Safes with 5000 hit points or even in loot boxes. The right place for them would be every where else....in trash, cabinets, cars.

    Edit:

The only exception would be if the stone tools and weapons were fossils from stone age that you could sell at the Trader for 5000 tokens. ;)

Totally agree. Working Stiff crate at top of church had 3, count 'em 3, stone shovels! One was even green. Game stage 14, luck looter 2 and lucky goggles. If you've seen Galaxy Quest, replace savings with treasure "By Grabthar's Hammer, wh...what a treasure".

  10. -Not a fan of the stone age loot. What hardware store orders boxes of stone axes? I guess the military bases will have boxes of stone arrows? This means entire POIs will just get skipped.

-Don't care for the candies either.

-The onscreen way point indicators just seem wrong.

-While the previous version may have seemed too washed out color wise, A19 seems to be too much in the other direction. I use ultra settings, would lower settings (which ones) make it look better?

-The new injury system can just f@%$ right off! Also, did infection percentage rate get increased? I got hit just after midnight day1/day2, and the percentage seemed to climb really fast. No stumps, no antibiotics at trader.

  11. I voted for the gun safes. I much prefer the older system with the red and yellow theme. I'll refer to it as alpha 16 which I liked. The one prior to this one I'll call alpha 17, which I very much disliked. This version I'll call alpha 18, which is better than 17.

  12. @Jeraal It is a very time consuming project but not too difficult. First you have to use Pille Prefab editor here https://forums.7daystodie.com/forum/...b-editor-alpha to convert the A17 WOTW blocks to A18. There are instructions on how to do that in his thread on page 75, 76, or 77 don't remember exactly which. Then you have to add them all to the prefab list you use to build your worlds. I can explain that better once you get the first part done.

WotW is in beta for A18 now. Still has plenty of bugs, but when it's ready I definitely want to use NitroGen.
