  1. Great work. I'v been attaching prefabs to items to make some rare item loot. Its def a little time consuming getting everything in the right spots but the outcome is pretty cool. Scared to touch UMA since joel said its being worked on in the future. Don't wanna lose hours of work like all my custom biomes =( Amazing work

  2. The only 2 main issues though, that I have and I doubt I will solve without diving into .dll/SDX territory is small hickups/lag because of all the new recipes (only way to deal with it is by typing something in the recipe search field), and the second issue is related to inventory size - because of how many items have been added and considering the fact, that there will be a lot more to come, inventory size is very underwhelming. Even with additional storage on the minibike it seems like it's not enough.

    :smile-new:

A better way to deal with recipe lag is clicking on the Favorite's Star and leaving it on. That way there is no lag when you open your inventory.

  3. Anyone with a high-pop server (I'd say 20+) who could do a little testing for us?

I too can lend a hand if its to help large servers in the long run. I run the server on a Linux Dedicated. I deal with many issues that cause problems with large servers and would do about anything to help fix them.

    We stay pretty populated https://7daystodie-servers.com/server/42572/stats/

Just read a bit farther. Noticed it was for Windows platform only. Should I ditch the linux rig for 7 days to die? It seems like supprt is a bit slim for the platform atm. Do you think 7 days will move to unity 5.4 fixing the current 16GB issue?

You'd probably want to rename them if vanilla buffs are using those specific names already

I see tint being added to a buff Icon. is this possible?
  5. Excuse my ignorance, and my laziness for posting before searching.

This thread gives me the impression that it is possible for a dedi to store UI XMLs and push them to the client, which raises a few questions in my mind:

Does this make the server go to the modded tab?

Can a client run any UI version without it causing a problem with EAC/valve when joining a server?

    Thanks for your help :)

Yes any mod to the UI will put your server in the modded list. Anytime a client joins a dedicated server the UI from the server is pushed to the client meaning it doesn't matter what the clients mods are they will not be used

I have been using the UI push since the first release. I currently am working on an in-game Wiki with the UI for the large amount of mods I have added. I'm currently working on an MMORPG style Mod.

  7. Hm, think that one is new ... Does this happen regularly or was it just that one time?

No this is happening all the time. There are a few spots in the map that will no longer load. (Everything around the chunk loads but not that square section. if a player steps into the chunk the world stops loading for all others players until i teleport them out. Also if they log off while in this chunk when they log back in they will be stuck at the "Starting Game" screen since the server will not send any map info to them. again the world will stop loading for all other players during this time.

  8. Crash Dump. Any help would be great

  13. Hey man. Just installed the bootstrap on a fresh server. when I go to make an instances I get this back.

/usr/local/lib/7dtd/serverconfig.sh: line 963: /usr/bin/xmlstarlet: No such file or directory

/usr/local/lib/7dtd/serverconfig.sh: line 964: /usr/bin/xmlstarlet: No such file or directory

  14. Hi. I have request if possible. I'm sure we are all familiar with the OutOfMemory error that locks up servers. Would it be possible to make an option to watch the log file for this error and automatically save and restart the server when this happens? I'm running a Linux server and am an amateur when it comes to anything in linux.
