  2. I am having some issues with the map server resetting the players list. As a consequence I am losing a lot of valuable historic information regarding player usage etc. Any ideas? I have been using it for many years, it used to happen on the very rare occasion but, recently it has been occurring about once a week.

    XML failed to load: onSelfRangedBurstShot shows up as an error when trying to load in 

     

     

     

    The problem lies in the custom zombies mod. TFP changed 'onSelfRangedBurstShot' to 'onSelfRangedBurstShotEnd' SnufkinCustomZombiesPLUS_A20_2022August2022.zip fixes the issue.

    This update required a buffs.xml update.
    References for onSelfRangedBurstShot have been updated to onSelfRangedBurstShotEnd to match default values.
    The effect is a delayed muzzle flash for the Juggernaut rocket launch and delayed explosion elimination for the Bomber.

     

    For gameplay purposes, players will notice the Juggernaut rocket muzzle flash is a little more delayed than earlier builds.

     

     

    The Bomber self destruction prompt triggers as normal with the regular explosion but he may show extended signs of life on the way up, but certainly not on the way down.

     

    Updating the buffs.xml file removed any mod load warnings. If there are any additional issues, please report them so they can be investigated.

    The top post will show 3 download choices for A19, A20 up to A20.5 (b2), and this new update for A20.6 (b8).

    I've downloaded most recent Allocs update. I've gone to both http://174.85.38.115:8082 and http://174.85.38.115:8082/static/index.html but the result for me is just a blank white page. This generates the following log:

     

    I don't use a server manager because CBSM seems to have been discontinued since the summer, RAT has had some sort of registry error for a few years (current version produces the same error), and the rest seem to be for Linux users. 

     

     

    Server Tools by Dmustanger and ObsessiveCompulsive is an excellent server manager. Very easy to set up and is local to your server.

     

    http://174.85.38.115:8082/static/index.html is right as long as the port is correct, usually it is control panel +2, also you must set the correct permissions for it to work. This is a link to mine, check it out - http://45.121.208.11:26905/static/index.html

    OK, my bad. This only occurs when starting the server with CBSM already activated. Must remember to deactivate CBSM during initial server startup and only activate once stabilised. Does not affect server restarts. All is well with the world.

  8. Launcher has stopped loading the mods. I have uninstalled and reloaded the launcher. I have added the mod folder and 7D2D launcher to my anti-virus exception list. This satarted only yesterday. This is the log, any ideas please:

  9. I transfered the Data and the 7DaysToDieServer_Data files from my 7DaysToDie folder after making sure i told Steam i wanted to change back to 16.3 and did a fresh install , can you make sure you dont have an automatic steam update or do they just do that anyways ?

    Nothing out of the norm I have played the War of the walkers and Valmods with no issues not sure whats going on here but it is driving me nuts I saw some other folks with the same issues but dont know what they did to fix it

     

     

    I had the exact same issue, reinstalled many times over a couple of days. It turns out you need to use a completely pristine copy of 7 days (I used A16.4). WOTW and Valmod leave some residues (I play them too). I had to manually delete my old install then reinstall via steam before using the mod launcher. Works fine now.

  11. So I got permission to use Valmods UI design as well as SMX for my mod! Will have it included in V5.0! Which is in progress.

     

    Excellent @dwallorde, love your work, can't wait to see your next offering. Adding Valmod ui and smx is a good move.

  13. I too have noticed the points allocation is way too high. Players on my server are loving it but it takes away the need to choose. In addition, no player has seen any of the random special crates yet after 60 days.

  14. This is the best version yet, just updated from 4.3.8 to 4.4.3 on my dedicated server. The players have reported marginal increased FPS, virtually no lag and forges seem much better. The visual effects look really nice too. I like the new class system, it forces you to play out the quests and multi-skilling is a must. The implementation of some A16 ideas is so cool. Well done.

     

    PS. Is there a text explaining the class system somewhere? It is like the blind leading the blind running into it for the first time, everyone is in the dark.

  15. We have had this a few times on our server, it was never fatal; until yesterday.

    One of my users had posted on our forum that when he or two others in his group joined the server it would crash. We tracked down their position to a bank on the edges of the map. We had to stop the server and delete the region (and the three next to it to be sure), and start the server again. When the offending players rejoined it was okay and they managed to get away from that area - all but one. Hours later it started again, as one of the team had logged on in the bank again. Server crash every time he logged in.

    I stopped the server, and deleted the offending regions again and the server stayed up even when the problem player logged on.

     

    I've searched this error and found that the 'hornet' seems to be a common theme :D

     

    When it spams the log file, it's quite aggressive. You can see it happen as soon as the player 'Salsanips' logs on:

    It's worth mentioning that we would never have been able to locate the players or the region they were in without Allocs scripts and webmap.
