  1. Big update on my issues. After speaking with 5 Dell Technicians across 6 hours, I can confirm that my issue was a hardware one and not a software one. My computer had to have its Hard Drive/SSD and Processor replaced entirely. Now everything on 7 Days works without issue. At this point my only real issues are making the game run smoothly. I noticed that in some of my multiplayer games, I seem to lag and jump forward a few feet every few seconds. Lowering the video settings to their lowest made everything smooth again, before the 7th Night lagged everything to hell. That's something for a different thread though, I'm sure. I appreciate the support given to me in this thread, otherwise I probably wouldn't have noticed my computer problems until it was too late to back my files up or something worse.
  2. I got my PC about 6 months ago, so I have to imagine that that was the right amount of time for my Processor to pretty much burn itself out from having no limit to its wattage/power. The BIOS I have also disables undervoltage/underclocking, so it's always gonna be this needlessly intense. At this point it's possible that even if Intel does come out with a fix, my computer processor is already broken. I didn't mention it,
  3. Follow-Up Post: I attempted to try repairing or uninstalling EAC to see if that would change anything, but no matter what I did, the EAC Executable wouldn't run. After having more issues with Windows 11 in general, I decided to reset my PC with a fresh install. Made backups for later, but everything on my drive has been wiped. Unfortunately I am still getting crashes even on a PC with nothing else installed.
  4. Summary: 7 Days has begun to continuously crash since April 4, 2024. Game Version: A21.2 b37 OS/Version: Windows 11 Pro CPU Model: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KF, 3200 Mhz, 24 Core(s), 32 Logical Processor(s) System Memory: 32.0 GB GPU Model and VRAM: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080, 16GB GDDR6X Screen Resolution: 1920x1080 Video Settings: Ultra Game mode: (MP host / MP client / SP / Client on Dedi, RWG or NAV): Initially MP Client. Tested further in Single Player. No Mods. Did you wipe old saves? : Yes Did you start a new game? : Yes Did you validate your files? : Yes Are you using any mods? : No EAC on or off?: EAC on initially. Turned it off for testing purposes. Status: NEW Bug Description: 7 Days has begun to continuously crash since April 4, 2024. First crash log recorded at 5:10PM. This became a repeat occurrence at seemingly random intervals. Anywhere from crashing on startup, to crashing at the opening logos, the world not initializing, crashing while looting, while roaming, fighting, turning around, etc. Intriguingly, when 7 Days had begun crashing, Discord had also begun repeatedly crashing. Not sure if that had anything to do with 7 Days though. As a result of crashes occurring every time I played 7 Days since April 4th, I took several steps to try and prevent the crashes from happening. Listed in order – assume a crash after every step taken: 1. Playing w/ EAC on as a MP Client. MP Host did not have EAC enabled. First crash occurrence with game immediately disappearing. 2. Restarted my computer 3. Verified game file integrity 4. Began launching without EAC. Unity Errors pop up now before the game crashes. 5. Uninstalled, then reinstalled 7 Days. 6. Disabled exclusive fullscreen 7. Disabled SS Reflections, then SSAO, Motion Blur, Sun Shafts 8. Turned off reflection quality, then shadows, then occlusion 9. Played in single player. Still crashing. 10. Updated my windows OS 11. Updated my Nvidia drivers 12. Updated network drivers 13. Used Display Driver Uninstaller to completely uninstall my drivers in Safe Mode. 14. Played solo for about an hour and a half without crashes. Played as MP Client directly after and crashed within 20 minutes. Then again 10 minutes later. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug: No real steps to consider. The closest to reproducing the crash is trying to skip the intro movie showing the Pimps logo. Actual result: Despite taking all precautions, I kept crashing at random intervals Expected result: Hoped the crashes would stop after uninstalling my drivers. Did not seem to be a rendering issue?
