  1. This happens because of the drone. It's one of the confirmed bugs in A21. I submitted a support request to see if there was a workaround to summon the drone or to bring it back, but they didn't really help, other than to provide the same commands I used. It's position is NAN: 2023-07-18T23:32:16 3430.529 INF 338542 Drone PostInit [type=EntityDrone, name=entityJunkDrone, id=18249], (NaN, NaN, NaN) (chunk -134217728, -134217728), rbPos (NaN, NaN, NaN) I managed to get the info above by typing listents in the console, then went digging through the logs, the console is spitting by too many errors to read anything. When I deleted the drone files, I could log in without the problem: 2023-07-18T22:35:50 44.252 INF Respawn almost done 2023-07-18T22:35:50 44.256 INF PlayerSpawnedInWorld (reason: LoadedGame, position: -542, 61, 546): localplayer 2023-07-18T22:35:50 44.302 INF 3812+1 Origin Reposition (0.0, 0.0, 0.0) to (-544.0, 48.0, 544.0) 2023-07-18T22:35:50 44.308 WRN 3812+1 Origin ray fail (544.0, -294.0, -544.0) 2023-07-18T22:35:50 44.308 INF 3812+1 Origin Reposition (-544.0, 48.0, 544.0) to (-528.0, 48.0, 544.0) 2023-07-18T22:35:50 44.312 WRN 3812+1 Origin ray fail (528.0, -294.0, -544.0) 2023-07-18T22:35:50 44.312 INF 3812+1 Origin Reposition (-528.0, 48.0, 544.0) to (-512.0, 48.0, 544.0) 2023-07-18T22:35:50 44.315 WRN 3812+1 Origin ray fail (512.0, -294.0, -544.0) 2023-07-18T22:35:50 44.315 INF 3812+1 Origin Reposition (-512.0, 48.0, 544.0) to (-496.0, 48.0, 544.0) 2023-07-18T22:35:50 44.393 WRN 3814+1 Origin ray fail (496.0, -294.0, -544.0) 2023-07-18T22:35:50 44.393 INF 3814+1 Origin Reposition (-496.0, 48.0, 544.0) to (-480.0, 48.0, 544.0) 2023-07-18T22:35:50 44.397 WRN 3814+1 Origin ray fail (480.0, -294.0, -544.0) 2023-07-18T22:35:50 44.397 INF 3814+1 Origin Reposition (-480.0, 48.0, 544.0) to (-464.0, 48.0, 544.0) We were driving and I kept hearing the drone hit the ground and eventually it stopped, but when it did the game started to lag like crazy. After deleting the drones file, I tried to put a drone that I bought from one of the traders down and it went INTO the ground. It came back up after a bit, but drones seem to be pretty broken right now. I tried to use the 'kill' command to kill the drone that was in a bad position and it said it dealt like 9999 damage to the drone or something, but it didn't *remove* the entity from the game, which is what is needed to fix the problem. For now, the only fix we could find is to delete the drone files from the save directory and not use drones. How to delete the files: Windows Key + R - brings up the run command. Type: %AppData%\7DaysToDie\Saves That should bring up explorer to your save game directory. Now double click the world/map name, in my case it's Navezgane, then double click the saved game name. You should see drones.dat and drones.dat.bak along with players, power, vehicles, and a lot of other files. Do not touch those. Only delete the drone files.
