Ended up just fresh installing windows and now my game works and it seems I was missing some other vital drivers so at least now I'm sitting pretty again thanks for the help

I was gifted this game awhile back and played a bit with some friends planned on getting back into the game and now it just won't launch from steam. I couldn't find a similar topic any and all help would be very much appreciated.
