  • "server ended the connection to the client" occurs when trying to join somebody elses game or server

    after loading into the game and attempting to join a server or a friends world the game will load for a while a bit after you start to hear the game audio (but still in loading screen) the game gives the disconnect error "server ended the connection to the client" 

    this issue persists after MANY "solutions" posted online and also happens to somebody I know on a separate machine.

    This is the main issue. Port forwarding needs to be done on the server/host. If port 25566 is used, then TCP 25566 and UDP 25566 - 25568 is needed to be forwarded.
