  • Buttons are not responding while I was playing in multiplayer

    Bug Description:

     

    Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

    1) Start a mission from infestation or regular clear and search, etc.

    2) Go there and start with my friend to clear 

    3) Finding an obstacle where you must click a button to proceed further but not respond.

     

    Actual result: (description of what is occurring)

    From starting a Quest with my friend we are clearing throughout the whole building where we sometimes repeat or go in the first time, where we have presented a button then proceed to the next room and have a horde of zombies to spawn since is a trigger sequence but once we get to the button we are present no option to open the doors or turning off the value which we must destroy our way in but due to that results we are not able to complete the trader's quest and has to abandon it. they are some quests that ignore that feature and also work but I have been seeing this too much where I believe that I'm doing something that is causing this issue but so far am still doing the same thing where the some buttons are responding and some are not 

     

    Expected result: (what you expect to occur)

    what is expected to happen is that zombies will spawn once click the button but since is a clear quest we can clarify that we cannot continue if the zombies are not present at all we even went through the door by breaking it down and where they are supposed to spawn but none of them is spawning.( this the log https://pastebin.com/1xDHunuz) and this is the button that I'm mentioning https://imgur.com/a/VSpgK5J

    My friends and I are also having this issue. We thought we would have to do something with a nearby generator to power the button but there is no option to interact with the generator or button. Because of this, we also have the same issue with triggering events which doesn't allow us to complete the trader's quest, forcing us to abandon them. We have tried leaving the game to restart the quest to see if it fixes it, but it appears to be bugged in a couple specific POIs. We did a T5 military encampment and a T5 Shamway Factory POI that both had these issues. I'm wanting to say there was also a Shotgun Messiah POI with this issue as well, but I can't confirm. 

     

    I haven't gotten that far in a single player world yet, so I can't confirm if this is a multi-player only bug or if it is present in both multi-player and single-player.

    For now, if you are on the stable release, you should be able to break the button/switch block to force it to activate. At least a workaround until they figure out/fix the button issue
