  • Can't start game, problem with Profile.

This is a problem with my profile.

For some reason it's giving me this error.

Anyone know how to edit my profile so I can get the damn game to even start?

I had a friend yesterday that had a similar issue.

He had a previous installation of the darkness fall mod and even after removal and reinstall, the issue persisted. It worked properly after:
    0) Make sure both game and steam are closed.

    1) Cleaning up the following registries:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\The Fun Pimps\7 Days To Die
*if you dont feel confortable removing. Just rename the The Fun pimps to something else.

    2) Remove the profiles already in place (this will delete your characters and save):
    C:\Users\$UserName$\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie
*You can also change the name.

    3) Reboot

    4) Try again

Yeah what @Lamblaska said is right. This error SHOULDN'T be a thing that happens in A22 (not talking about going from A21 -> A22). You don't need to reboot though.

    1. Open the game launcher
    2. Go to Tools
    3. Open Settings
    4. Delete that folder that it opens up in the registry
    5. Go back into the Tools part, clean game files option
    6. Check Game Settings, Player Profile
    7. Should be good to go, no need to reboot.
