  • Possible memory leak when near Towns?

    Summary: (a short description of the bug) The first few minutes next to or in a big town will later cause very low FPS happens to friends too when hosting a MP server low end system crashed other high end system friend reports same issues as me.

    GPU Model and VRAM: (nVidia GTX 1060 4 GB / AMD RX 580 8 GB / etc) NVIDIA GTX 1660 6GB

    Screen Resolution: (width and height) 1920x1080

    Video Settings: (Low / Medium / High / Ultra / Custom (Custom has many combinations, so just list the settings you think are relevant to the bug if any)) Medium

    Game mode: (MP host / MP client / SP / Client on dedi, RWG or NAV) MP host - RWG PREGEN 10K

     

    Did you wipe old saves? (Yes/No) yes

    Did you start a new game? (Yes/No) yes

    Did you validate your files? (Yes/No) yes

    Are you using any mods? (Yes/No) yes

    EAC on or off? Off

     

    Status: NEW

     

    Bug Description: Spending a few minutes near or in a town causes very low FPS in the game restarting does fixes it for a few minutes when in a town.

     

    Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

     

    1) Generate an RGW

    2) Settle near a town center

    3) After a few minutes, the fps should drop by a significant amount

     

    Actual result: (description of what is occurring) Game runs without any other error, just the very bag FPS that this is causing

     

    Expected result: (what you expect to occur) Settle in or near town center without having bad FPS

    Moving to WIP since optimizations are being worked on as development progresses.

     

    What Schwanz said will also help, and this isn't a memory leak just optimizations are needed.
