  • Picket fence loses it's picket-ness after being upgraded with cobble

    NekoPawtato

Summary: Picket fence loses it's picket-ness after being upgraded with cobble (i.e. it is no longer partially see-through)

    Game Version: Alpha 20.2 b2

    Platform: PC

    OS/Version: Windows 10

    CPU Model: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6300HQ CPU @ 2.30GHz

    System Memory: 8GB

GPU Model and VRAM: AMD Radeon R9 M275X (4075MB?)

    Screen Resolution: 1280x720

    Video Settings: Potato (Low)

    Game mode: SP

Did you wipe old saves? Not since A20.0

Did you start a new game? Not since A20.1

Did you validate your files? Not since A20.1

Are you using any mods? No

    EAC on or off? Off

    Status: NEW

    Bug Description:

Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

    1) Craft "Wood fences and railings" shape helper

    2) Place at least two white picket fences down

    3) Upgrade one of the picket fences (requires cobble)

Actual result: The upgraded picket fence loses it's pickets (no longer partially see-through/individual boards) and becomes a solid sheet

Expected result: A cobble picket fence? (like how we have cobble bars and ladders now). Or if that's too silly then don't allow it to be upgraded

As stated in the other report, the "blocks" in the fences helper are using different textures that are not used in the "shape" system. The picket fence helper is still using "blocks" and is then updated to a "shape".
