bsod on 7 days to die

hello, there is no logs for me to show because it crashes before i can start the game
 

Did you wipe old saves? (No)

Did you start a new game? (No)

Did you validate your files? (YEs)

Are you using any mods? (No)

 

Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

 

1)start game in alpha 20.4 b42 

2) game trys to start...

3) bsod happens

One thing I would try, try using the 7 days to die launcher.  Make sure EAC is unchecked.  Try running it that way.  Let us know if theres any difference.  You can also try cleaning game data. Without any logs to go on, its just some random trouble shooting steps.  There is a folder called "EasyAntiCheat" and you may need to run the uninstall_eac & then the install_eac bat

With a BSOD, there could be another underlying issue hardware side that is being triggered by launching 7 days to die, it might be worth trying a few other games as well to see if it occurs anywhere else.

tysm, unchecking EAC stops the bsod

For what it's worth, a BSOD with EAC screams RAM issues to me. It would help you to get the BSOD code, because even if not running EAC allows you to play, the issue still exists, and it would be good for you to take care of. Reply back here if you want help with that.
