    OS/Version: Windows 10

    CPU Model: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz   3.00 GHz

    System Memory: 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)

    GPU Model and VRAM: NVDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER

    Screen Resolution: 3840 x 2160

    Video Settings: Custom, but mostly medium, I don't think it pertains to bug. 

    Game mode: MP host RWG 8K pregen 

     

    Did you wipe old saves? Yes

    Did you start a new game? Yes

    Did you validate your files? No

    Are you using any mods? No

    EAC on or off? On (unsure to be honest) 

     

    Status: NEW

     

    Bug Description: We unlocked trader rekt and were able to visit him once, but now when we return to him we cannot get in and are teleported back as if he is closed. It happens at any time of day, including the times all traders are normally open. We've tried over the course of a couple days to access him at different times, but keep being knocked back and cannot get in. 

     

    Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

     

    1) Unlock trader rekt via quest given to you by another trader (open trade routes)

    2) Visit rekt and complete the open trade routes quest

    3) Leave rekt and try to get back in side at another time, preferably another day after rekt should have closed for the night and then re-opened

    4) you will not be able to get into rekt's area and will be knocked back upon approaching. 

     

    Actual result: Being knocked back and cannot access trader rekt at any time of day

     

    Expected result: During the hours of 6:05 and 21:50 we should be able to go inside and talk to/access rekt like all other traders. Jen and Joel are working properly in our game.

    *UPDATE 12/23/2021*

     

    • Myself and the other player I've been playing with got the Open Trade Routes quest again from Trader Jen. When we went to Rekt's we still had the same issue (could not enter, would get knocked back as if closed), but when we went back to Jen's the quest completed? 
    • Both players exited the game. I validated my files via Steam. I re-entered the save and tried to go into Rekt's. Still had the same issue. 
    • I exited the game. Both myself and my other player validated our filed via Steam. We both re-entered the save file and he tried to enter Rekt's first. Still same issue.

    Hi, definitely not one seen for a long time, do you happen to have a log that isn't truncated that shows one of you getting teleported away during the daytime from the trader?

     

    Also, were time commands used to alter the time?

    I looked through it a bit and I'm not seeing that it shows me being teleported unfortunately (please double check me though), but I am when I get close to 3 out of 4 sides of trader rekt. The only side I don't get teleported from is a side by the road with a door next to a ramp that is locked and I cannot open. 

     

    No commands were used to alter the time. In fact, today was the first time we've used a command in the console at all, which I'll describe here:

     

    In an attempt to fix Rekt:

    • I (with my husband (the other player) loaded in) got as close to Rekt's base as possible and executed "chunkreset cr" in the console (F1). My husband exited, then I exited. I reloaded and still unable to access rekt. 
    • With only myself in game, I executed "chunkreset cr" in the console (F1). I exited the game. I reloaded and still unable to access rekt. 
    • With myself and my husband (the other player) loaded in, my husband went to rekt and tried the "chunkreset cr" command. He was denied twice, I'm assuming because it's not his file. 
    • With both myself and my husband standing as close to Rekt's base as we could at the same time, I executed the "chunkreset cr" command. My husband exited, then I exited. I reloaded and still cannot access rekt.

    This is something to keep an eye on, if you find this in the future a saved game may be helpful to debug it. Sorry for the delayed response, been rather busy!

     

    If you still have the issue, try this:

     

    1. Enable dm in the console
    2. Press Shift + F6
    3. Search for reset
    4. Click the POI reset test while right outside or inside the trader

    The reason why your husband's cr didn't work is he may not have had admin rights. Enter "admin add NAME 0", replacing name with his Steam name.

     

    Thus far nobody has seen this yet, but it is something to keep an eye out for.
