  • Unlimited Ammo/Level 6 Item Exploit

    Problem Description

    When you have reached tier 6 quests, it is possible to get hundreds of Ammo and a T6 Item every few minutes (In real time).

     

    Tested on

    Private Multiplayer server, no mods. Vanilla

     

    How To Reproduce

     

    1. Accept a T6 quest that has the the look container near the border of the POI (Such as 7 Days Suites or Dr Karen Higashi's Residence)
    2. Drill to/go to tine infested look box through the exit shortcuts available.
    3. Take the resources and move back to start to the POI start position.
    4. Disconnect to the server/game instance
    5. Log back into the server/game instance
    6. Restart the quest and start the T6 quest that can be restarted.

     

    Impact
    Easily exploitable way to get a lot of ammo and t6 equipment.

    Yes, multiplayer/dedicated server it's a big issue with players starting a quest, grabbing the main loot, relog and start again. Ideally the quest should be cancelled doesn't matter what.

    Not a bug, unless the higher-ups decide to change this. It's not a simple thing, and not as big of an issue as it seems, as you can just loot any POI you want and you still have to go through the POI (or break into it or whathaveyou). 

     

    I have been pushing for an auto-fail upon logout.
