Twitch Integration Fails and does not open a browser to confirm

Steps to reproduce: Use escape menu to connect to Twitch. Nothing happens (no browser pop up, no error messages regarding popups). Game states "Connection Failed. Try again". Repeat above steps, same issue.

Summary: When trying to login to twitch, you click the button, nothing opens in browser, and it eventually just says "Connection Failed. Try again!"

EAC on or off? off (I think)

 

Status: NEW

 

Bug Description: Cannot connect to Twitch Integration

 

Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

1) Use Escape menu to try to connect to Twitch.

2) Click Connect to twitch

3) Nothing happens (no browser opens, no pop up/error message)

4) Says "Connection Failed. Try again"

 

Actual result: Doesn't connect to Twitch

 

Expected result: Connects to Twitch

Can you confirm this is still an issue? If so, please let us know if your browser is open already when you try to login to Twitch. Please also let us know which browser you are using when trying to connect to Twitch.

So the problem turned out to be that I need to input the code on twitch.tv/activate every time. I only had to do that once on the last version, and didnt realize i needed to activate it every time.

Thank you for letting me know that you were able to get it going. It is normal to enter the activation code each time now. In order to allow consoles to use Twitch Integration, that change had to be made.

I play on ps5 and every time I try to activate it. It just says connection failed try again!

I would say try going to https;//www.twitch.tv/activate and typing in the code. That is what worked for me before.
