    Summary: The three TFP Mods needed for the dedicated server web dashboard, TFP_CommandExtensions, TFP_MapRendering, and TFP_WebServer are not getting installed by Steam. 

     

    Game Version: (V1.0 b333)

    OS/Version: Verified happening on Windows 11 / macOS 14.6.1 / Steam Deck

    CPU Model: Various (Intel i9, Mac M1, Steam Deck)

    System Memory: Mac Mini w/ 16 GB, Mac Studio w/ 128 GB, Windows 11 w/ 64 GB

    GPU Model and VRAM: nVidia GTX 2080 Super 8 GB / Mac M1, Stea Deck

    Screen Resolution: Not relevant for dedicated server

    Video Settings: Not relevant for dedicated server

     

    Game mode: Dedicated Server - Self Hosted


    Map: Any and all
     

    Did you wipe old saves? YES

     

    Did you start a new game? YES

     

    Did you validate your files? YES, also uninstalled and reinstalled.

     

    Are you using any mods? No, totally fresh install
    Did you try to reproduce without mods? Not applicable.

     

    EAC on or off? Both

     

    Bug Description:

     

    Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

    1) Make sure you do NOT have 7DTD installed. If it is uninstall and delete the folders in steamapps/common

    2) Install from Steam.

    3) Go to steamsapps/common/7 Days To Die/Mods

     

    Actual result: You will only see 0_TFP_Harmony

     

    Expected result: You should see TFP_CommandExtensions, TFP_MapRendering, and TFP_WebServer

    This was made before I had a proper understanding that there was a separate download for a proper dedicated server. Due to being Mac based, there is some confusion over that since you can use the game client as a dedicated server as well. Just with reduced functionality. I was able to verify, once I followed the instructions for setting up a NON Mac based server, that the mods exist as expected. Not a bug. PEBKAC.
