Mac OsX Trees are flat pink and not rendering

I have the same issue! 

 

Summary: Trees not rendering correctly, they are just plain pink
Game Version: (V1.0 b3xx)
OS/Version: macOS Sonoma Version 14.5 
CPU Model: Apple M1 Max
System Memory: 32 GB
GPU Model and VRAM: Apple M1 Max
 

I initially loaded the game running on METAL saw the pink and quite the game.

 

I then tired it on GL Core and that was horrible. Still pink but also very laggy. 

Summary: Trees and probably other scenery rendering as flat pink shapes when using Metal renderer.

Tried adjusting video settings. This issue goes away when switching to GL Core, although there's a performance hit to do thing this.

I don't know how to edit but I made an error to my pervious reply.

 

When I changed to GL Core, the pinks trees went way, but the lag made the game unplayable.
