Items removed from drone inventory

Thank you for reporting. However I was not able to reproduce the issue with the info provided
I put a stack of dukes and first aid bandages in the drone and ran into the spikes and checked the drone's inventory after it healed me and the items were still inside.

I'm having a similar bug. V1.0 B333 lvl6 drone with heal arm bear head and 2 cargo mods. I have a stack of 9mm, 7.62 and .44, some dukes, stone, wood, a truck, and some bandages in that order and its seems to delete any new items I put in the drone after the bandages as the listed items are still there but the med kit, forged steal, vitamins, and rotting flesh I just added are all gone.

Thank you for the details, I wasn't able to repro still with it, however I *may* have found a possible repro for this while trying other things and have written up a ticket for it.

Do you know if you were hosting or joining a friend/server? I believe this issue only happens to the client. 

 

Here is what I did to reproduce it

1. Join a P2P or dedi game
2. Place down drone with healing mod
3. Place down 1 first aid bandage and a random item (like a knife) in the inventory
4. Get hurt and have drone heal you
5. Open inventory and place another bandage, but in a different slot of the inventory + add one more item (like a torch) 
6. Log off/on OR die and respawn (I noticed drone will not heal you again)
7. Check inventory, observe the extra item in step 5 is gone

 

If you know of other ways I'd be more than happy to try them and expand the ticket.

I'm playing on a server.

I also auto sort inventory, don't know if that will make a diff but it's something else I thought of.

Forgot to add that I am on Xbox. 

 

This problem occurred again tonight. I deliberately placed an item (broken block) inside to see it it would disappear. ALL my first aid bandages (which I'd just spent hours making 😅) vanished as did the block. Aloe vera cream persisted.

Are you playing in multiplayer? If so, are you hosting the game or are you joining another person? Do you know if it disappears immediately after placing it in the drone, or only after the drone heals you again?

After messing around with it some more I think sorting/position of the first aid bandage does not matter. It seems it can happen without sorting and simply adding more items to it after it heals the player. Looks like any items added to the drone inventory after it heals you disappears until you pick up the drone and put it back down and fill it with items again

 

So basically

1. Put items and bandages on the drone
2. Get hurt and have it heal you
3. Add more items to the drone
4. Get hurt and have it heal you again
5. All the items in step 3 are gone

Hello, I had a similar bug. My friend is hosting a game with the current most uptodate version of the game. We are on day 45. He crafted us both drones. I filled my drones inventory up with lots of magazines and various junk. I drove really fast on my motorcycle across the map then with out looking in the inventory, i pulled up the drone menu and hit unlock, with the idea being that my friend/host could pick over the collection of magazines off the drone. When i looked in the inventory everything was blank. I had a cargo and healing mod on the drone.

The steps above seem to match my scenario as well. I'll have to try some further testing to be totally certain but this sounds right. 

When it cleared out my first aid bandages and the block, it left aloe vera cream and a plaster cast. I think it did that after it healed me. I wondered why it didn't seem to be healing me any longer. It couldn't, as it has no bandages. 

 

I took a pic of that outcome but can't add to post on my phone right now. 

I've had a similar issue,
I keep my t6 Gear in my drone and 2X now the helmet I switched out for was duped/replaced.
I.e. After swapping helmets, and going back to the drone 3min later,
my head and my drone had the same helmet,
but the original helmet in the drone was replace by a dupe of the one I equipped.

Were your drones full when this happened, I think mine was.

Can verify items disappear from drone inventory. It may be reverting back to a previous "saved" inventory state as only half my loot disappeared.

I would only deposit med supplies to him because i was skeptical starting out (also new). After running a t5 mission and putting lots of "useless" ammo in his inventory, checked later to notice it was gone. I had this happen before but tried again because I thought I was crazy. 

I have had something similar, in one case ater the drone had healled me all items execept the bandages were gone, it was mostly filled with books.

 

Also have cargo and heal mods on drone.

 

But another time, this has happened twice to my knowledge, when I looked into drone invemtory items I had previously removed were back, its like the drones inventory gets reverted to an old state.

I forgot to mention, I am connecting to a dedicated server and playing with friends.

I'm having an issue with items disappearing from a drone.

T6 drone - Morale booster/Armor/Cargo/Healing mod

15 First Aid Kits in inventory, plus assorted items (different each time this has happened.

 

Does not appear to be related to healing. Possibly occurs when the drone teleports to catch up, but it seems to occur sporadically (ie: I have no idea what I'm doing that makes it occur). Wipes everything but the first aid kits.

I am on a dedicated server.  When my drone heals me, it saves the inventory, if I log off, it loses every thing new I have added and reverts back to whatever was in the inventory from last time it healed.

Its seems that the healing mod for the drone can indeed duplicate any item as long as there is healing items in its inventory. Im playing on a multiplayer server (my friend is the host) and i discovered in first place because i had healing items on it, then put junk in it then it dissapeared. When i tried it again i noticed it that it "saved" the inventory before any was healing was activated. Then, the procedure to duplicate became logical, you put any items in the drone inventory, (with 2 healings at least) then you proceed tu lower your health from 100, so the drone can heal you, and after one heal, you take the inventory back, then heal again and your inventory will appear as the first "saved" as i just said. Its a big sploit and it should be fixed

We had the same problem. Crafted like 60 Bandages and put those in my drone and a few minutes later the inventory in my drone was blank. Really annoying bug. Drone is unusable.

Since I stopped putting anything in it except first aid supplies I've not had the glitch happen again, for what it's worth!

I'm having the issue as everybody has reported.  

Question:  Does this occur if you remove the healing mod?  

I don't know about that.....but just don't put other stuff in and it works great. That part I know at least

This happened to me yesterday. I was mining and had been for a while. I had my drone full of iron, clay, sand and lead. I was going to wait until my backpack was full then return to my base. While mining two screamers fell into the mining pit and of course screamed. I was quickly out numbered and started fighting. The drone healed me twice before it took damage and shutdown. After the fight I checked drone inventory and "everything" was gone except the medical supplies. I was playing on a dedicated multiplayer server with a couple of friends. 

Hosting a server, and me and my friend both had all our loot disappear, we used the drone when our inventories got full.  Now we stopped using it for that. adn only healing.  I just filled it up with 12 stacks of first aid badnages and kits, they are all gone now. not sure when or how it did it... 

I removed the healing mod.  For me, using the drone as a pack mule is more valuable than applying a bandage.

 

I haven't lost any drone inventory since I did this but could be just luck.

 

I have not seen this issue myself, I am the host of my world., however my friend who joins in does experience this issue after being healed. It happened to him 3 times in one night. We play on Xbox
