Game mode: (not sure how to answer)

    Map: not applicable

Did you wipe old saves? (Yes)

Did you start a new game? (not applicable)

Did you validate your files? (Yes, several times)

Are you using any mods? (No)
Did you try to reproduce without mods? (N/A)

EAC on or off? tried on, tried off

Bug Description: I open the game from steam, no matter if I open from launcher or not, if I turn on EAC or not, run administrator mode or compatibility mode, game crashes or loading screen, before main menu.
Somehow I still get "This is pre-release" software note despite playing v 1.0, not sure if that is an error.

Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

    1) Play game on alpha 21.2, make a lot of saves. Play 21.2 when 1.0 is launched with "Betas" set to 21.2.

    2) Update to current version, game crashes on loading screen.

    3) Verify files, uninstall game, delete saves, install again, update drivers, game still crashes.

Actual result: (description of what is occurring) Game crashes on loading screen, with "This is pre-release" note visible.

Expected result: (what you expect to occur) Main menu loads, no "This is pre-release" visible.
