Random Gen Map Controls? Please help, I'm stupid.

I hope eventually the controls for the random map gen preview will be in the option controls? ( I looked but I did not see anything laying out controls for random map gen). I have noticed that you can rotate and look at the map on an axis, my left ctrl zooms in. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to zoom out!!! I've searched forums, google and youtube for control help. No luck so far.... Some people are stupid at figuring things out (like me!). Please help me for I am bad at finding helpful things to fix my problems.
