My dream is to see the most versatile plant known to us in the game. Hemp is without doubt the queen of cultivated plants. Hemp grows like weed, is highly resilient, delivers all the basic materials needed for survival. Making tough clothes and armour, building huts and even advanced housing, nutritious seeds and on top of it all it has been used by many cultures as medicine. I believe the knowledge about Hemp's extraordinary qualities has become common again, after almost 100 years of suppression. In case you wonder, its scientific name is cannabis. The first thing any survivor should do in real life, when Apocalypse comes and oppression by the authorities ends, is to start growing weed in order to survive. The Walking Dead series ignores this. George Romero did not, we see a grower in Day of the Dead. Do we need mods to implement cannabis? Maybe TFP has made up base in a restrictive environment, where the government refuses to acknowledge our freedom to farm and causes problems for people who even talk about it.
