FailFailWin
So, I'm planning 2 different games soon: a 'multiplayer' survival game, that will be mostly SP, but with the option of inviting friends if I feel like it A multiplayer survival game where we only play with all of us online none of these are 'singleplayer survival' so, how will my skills work between these games? Will I have a completely different set of skills in each? Will I load up the second game and find I still have skills from the first? More importantly, will I load up the second game and somehow WIPE my skills in the first? I'm just looking to make sure I understand how it works before accidentally losing a ton of progress... Aesir
They should all remain separate from each other with no crossover. I have a multiplayer solo that my brother visits from time to time. I have another save that's a miltiplayer co-op with my brother, and I visit his game from time to time. All three have only the levels and skills that I've gained in each of the saves. Chives Based
Your skills are saved to the world if that makes sense, you can't just instantly move level 40 over to a different world. If you play a lot of the solo that you occasionally invite people to then you can at least save yourself time by learning which talents are better than others
