So my horde base final form is a combination of electric fences to slow zombies, and blade traps to cut them down, plus a couple shotgun turrets to clear anything that gets past those. The zombies are funneled down a corridor of bars that keep them in range of the blades, but if I turn off the fences, I can run down behind the bars and pick up drop bags. when I do this, I have about 6 SMG turrets that I turn on to compensate for the fences. I am currently on day 127, and for the very first time, I am suddenly taking damage from the turrets. Have I just been stupidly lucky the other 8-9 blood moons I have used this setup, or did a recent update turn on turret friendly fire? Before you ask, I have all the turrets set to only target enemies, no allies or self. And I know that in the most recent updates, turrets no longer damage your structures. At least, that's what I assume when a turret fires and I hear that sound that happens if you try to damage something at a trader. Or does game stage have some effect on turrets? No FF until you hit a certain milestone, then it turns on? Just trying to figure this out.
Edit: I just noticed that that invinciblity sound is no longer happening when the turrets fire. Does that also turn off?
