New Doors

Is there a way to craft the new doors? If not, why? Would love to use the jail doors for my base build.

Some of them.  They are options of the metal doors.  They said, unless I am mistaken, that all the doors were craftable in the game but that isn't true.  I would really like to know why they aren't letting us craft all the new windows and doors.  That really annoys me.  I hate being stuck using the creative menu to make my base look the way I want it to look.  I see no reason to prevent us from crafting the new doors and windows as well as the various decoration objects.  If nothing else, you should be allowed to buy the stuff. 

 

It was said that some things would cause performance issues if someone placed a bunch of them but I think that should be up to the player.  Have it be similar to showing the dev items, where it is a "high performance cost" button that shows all items and if you want to, you can craft them with it being very clear that you're risking fps issues by doing so.
