New weapon idea: Riot shield!

There should be riot shields in the game. But before you say anything it won't be too overpowered, but I'll get to that later. In order to craft a riot shield you would need Laminated Glass (a new craftable item in itself) and Forged Iron for the frame. To create Laminated Glass you would craft a Glass Pane, a Cloth Fragment, and another Glass Pane, then heat it in a forge. Then you would place the Forged Iron a rectangular formation, and place the Laminated Glass in the middle. The riot shield would have these protection stats: Bullet - 60 Melee - 70 Puncture - 70 Blunt - 85 Explosive - 30 Durability: 350 The downsides are that having the riot shield equipped would slow you down significantly, and you wouldn't be able to run with it. But you could use it as a melee weapon by bashing zombies and people with it, but after you bash the attack speed would be slow which would make you vulnerable to another attack. Also if it took too many hits to the glass, then the glass would break making it useless.

Sounds interesting, but I think it needs reworking. Anything that slows people down, at the current gameplay, people won't use. If, however, the only way to approach some sort of projectile zombie without getting hurt was to use the shield then yes, it could come into play.
