  1. Ahhh, well see, that's interesting. I did use the AG tool to see an overview of my entire map right around the time this issue occurred. What I recall is playing through the night 35 horde, making a loot run into the city, mining a bit, then shutting down the game and coming back to it a week later to pick up for a few hours. When I fired up the game, it the map was messed up. I very well could have run the AG after that prior session. Sooo, good info, thank you Beelzybub. I can't definitely say it was the cause because I can't remember the exact chain of events, but close enough in timing that I have to give it serious merit. I won't be doing that again! Thanks much for this insight.
  2. For anyone facing this situation, the fix I found is as follows: -> Run game 1 - Determine map region(s) containing your base (guide here). Note that you need to select the "Ch" tick box in the top F3 menu for the chunk submenu to display. -> Exit game/launcher fully 2 - Get your seed name (see cloud's comment here for random gen) 3 - Back up/move game saves folder to new folder called BAK or to different location altogether 4 - Delete old game saves from default save location 5 - Delete generated worlds folder (or rename with a leading _ ) -> Run Game 6 - Generate a new world using your original seed name -> Exit game/launcher fully 7 - Copy map region(s) for base(s) to game save -> Region folder 8 - In the Player folder, delete enclosed files and copy the contents from your old save Player folder to the new -> Run Game 9 - Enjoy fresh map generation with you old player, gear, gamestage, base and even map markers. EVERY map region not saved/copied from your original save will be reset. Note that, if you have them, 'outpost' bases/loot save locations will need to be determined in step one. Basic explanation, but it worked a charm for me. The only bug I've found so far is my furnaces now show 5000+ minutes of fuel with no fuel in them. Will likely destroy and remake them soon. I'm following this thread, so don't hesitate to ask questions. Of course, you could go OG 7D2D status and start from scratch. However, this roll for me was a good one and I wanted to keep it going...
  3. Thanks. I wasn't trying to report a bug so much as inquire about a texture redraw - something short of deleting region chunks. When I did that, well, see the attached screencap. I'm just going to start over, I've gotten pretty good at it in the last 6 years. lolol
  4. **Edit - must have been an update I'm not aware of as now there are ghost POIs...see from short distance, but get there and nothing except semi-lagging through the ground.
  5. Returned to my 7d2d world today after not playing for a week - and all the roads have acquired the texture of the biome they're in. Grass in forests, sand in deserts, etc. Any command to redraw/regenerate textures? I've restarted the game several times and tried a different render engine, no luck. Running A20 b238, no updates that I'm aware of since last play session. Not running experimental builds or any mods. Thanks.
