We actually had someone in the General Support forum complaining about FPS drop while crypto mining.  Our advice to him was stop trying to do both while playing the game.

They will stop doing both when the thrashing kills the GPU. (Really if anyone doesn't know mining and anything with high graphics demand at the same time will destroy a GPU).

  2. Made a random gen world and I can say it is amazing, I didn't watch any game play before the release so it was a epic surprise to see cities the are more modern, A20 is a huge step up from A19 I terms of how the lay outs are, keep up the good work guys.

It's also because people like to watch other people be entertaining. Maybe they are funny, maybe that have a very relaxing personality, maybe they can do things in a game that a viewer cannot.

It's not just "watching someone play a game". It's more for the person playing it and the entertainment they provide.

That is a valid argument and counter point I applaud you Sir.

This is simply a perspective that you will probably never share. I could make the same argument about sports. Taking soccer as an example, in my opinion it's just a childish game about two teams kicking a ball around and sometimes including some immature, violent fans starting fires and riots if their favorite team doesn't win. It's ridiculous in my eyes but that doesn't make it any less valid of a form of entertainment (excluding the last bit I mentioned). If someone can find purpose in an activity, then that activity is worth pursuing, so long as they are not harming themselves or anyone else. Not everyone has to "get it" to make it worthy of existing.

Again I said I personally don't understand but if it makes them happy whatever.

I don't understand why some people have to demean others in regards to what they find as entertaining or what they want to do with their time.  I sometimes wonder if demeaning others is their way of putting some value in their lives.

It's not demeaning I just don't understand why people like watching someone else do something they are very capable of doing, if someone wants to sit around watching paint dry by all means do it but seems a little boring.

I fall into this category. Damn power supply ended up on the other side of the country after being at a USPS distribution center this side... Prob going to end up pushing for a refund and then trying one of the localish box stores instead. :(

Maybe Fed-Ex dumped 100s of boxes in the woods like they did where I live.

My wife and daughter like to knit and I have never understood their fascination with it and frankly if they need to validate themselves by making things out of yarn they probably need to re-evaluate their lives.

But they are actually do it for themselves, not watching someone else do it for them.

lol you act as if the people who announce it don't have a reputation to upkeep as well....  if they don't, well they aren't big enough to make that sort of impact in the first place.
I don't think you really understand the industry my friend.

Personally I have never understood the fascination in watching someone play a game that you could play yourself, and if they really need a reputation for being able to make Mario jump on the turtle to validate their life it maybe a good time to re-evaluate it.

Because they felt it needed more work. There are many examples in the industry of studios who release incomplete updates simply because they were directed to release on the date that was given ready or not. In this case there was no official date given-- only an estimate and when that date came they decided to keep working on it internally rather than release it to experimental as it was.

I really wasn't asking just wanted to do the impatient kid in the car thing, seems to happen every upcoming Alpha release. Honestly I don't why so many complaints, it's had updates for 8 years now and it always seems fresh with every update really giving a replay factor.

What sort of printing paper do you use, mate ?

I hope photo paper, 6x9s and lots of them spread on the floor to make a alter type collage, covered in Crisco oil so when he slides around nude the ink will transfer to his skin like a fruit roll up tattoo.

I play too much 7 Days To Die for my own good. My life revolves around this game, I think about it all the time. It's even come to the point where sometimes I dream about it. That's an embarrassing fact I probably shouldn't have shared, but I chose to share it, so there you go. Once the Kraken awakens from its slumber, I can't wait to get sucked down this rabbit hole all over again, digging this pit even deeper around myself with no chance of escape.

    God I love this game.

I feel the pain, I started gathering things like cement mixers, generators, tools forges gravel ect.... just waiting for the zombie apocalypse to kick off.

Good and bad are very subjective terms.  If you want people to be open to your opinion/discussion, try not claiming things as "facts" that everyone should abide by and just objectively speak for yourself.

Good? Bad? I'm the guy with the gun.

That used to be possible. I believe it's still possible in a19, though harder because you'll usually kill a zombie before you can chop off all limbs.

I have tried for hours with no success, even my son tried to help.
