Ok, I figured out part of the problem - the off center background is due to aspect ratio (I have a wide screened monitor.) I still can't figure out why the window is black though - I removed all other mods and installed only an unmodified version of Slimlong's mod and still have the black box. Any ideas of how I can lighten or better yet get rid of the box would be greatly appreciated.

Hello   Thank you for sharing your amazing modlet Slimlong! I can't wait to see it go live on my new server. I do have 2 questions. I'm an absolute novice modder and can't figure this part out... how do I get rid of or move and change the opacity of the black box behind the menu? Also, is it possible to embed a link in one of those information panels that when clicked on it would open a window to the live map for example? Thanks again for your work on this modlet and sharing it with the rest of us.

Thank you very much stallionsen! As a completely amature modder, I had tried this prior to posting and while I did manage to change the "class key" icon to the lockpick icon, I also broke the quest (after using the key on the case, it was not openable.) So, I wanted to make sure this was possible before I spent the next many hours of my life trying to figure it out. 😛  Thank you very much for the help!
