  1. Does anyone know how to change the max zombie count and the like? I am assuming it is in an xml file somewhere?
    I am assuming Zed count is another big part in possible lag for the game (on the potatoe of my friend) besides the map size and so I wanna play around with it a bit without having to start an entirely playthrough with my friends anytime.

I had fun with 8Kmaps on a 10 yo Notebook with dedicated graphics (some mobile Nvidia-chip from 2012) and 16 gb RAM, even on multi. And he may be able to google tweaks for 7d2d on old machines (eg increase virtual memory - may slow down a bit, but still have fun!)

    so this is probably a silly question but does anyone know whether Darkness Falls (or any other mod for that matter) impacts game speed (increases RAM, CPU, requirements)?
    One of the friends I play with plays on a potatoe and doesn't want us to try out the mod because it may slow his game down.

    I know that big mods slow down loading times and of course there's some big areas in this mod which may cause lags when entered?
    Sorry, didn't really find an answer when googling.

    Just seems to increase damage.
    You can actually see it if you trigger the effect and then use the hotkey to get to your stat bar.

    Taza's bow actually deals around the same damage as compound bows so with the extra effects it is a bit better dps-wise though I´always miss the range-finders from the compound bow.

    What are the recommended specs for the different sizes?
    And does the RAM mean all people who play or just the one who hosts?

    Does anyone else get desync issues after a certain time in games or are our machines to weak?
    Playing on Darkness Falls Extra Large 1.

    Was fine until around 22 days.  It should be noted that we massively expanded exploration around 20 but we could explore before just fine but now my friend is constantly a few minutes behind.

    Also, was Kage's book added by you?
    We found it in a bunker in the dessert and it felt a bit like a joke.
    I mean. We cleared that bunker, found a secret room and got 16 skill notes?
    Might as well not have given us something lol.

    The bunker was great though.

    Coops/Snares have to be outside on dirt. It was the best way I could simulate them needing to be outside (I may alter coops later so they can be indoors, but not the snares).

    Baby animals... pen them in, place the block down, animal spawns. That's it. Eventually they die of old age, but if you have a male and a female, they make babies.

    So I just place snares in the open and that's it? Don't I have to like add feed? If so, how do I do that? Sorry, I just can't figure it out.

    Hmm. That kinda sucks because it makes them too annoying to craft. Wouldn't there be an option to make the tree sap be added as a harvested item instead of filling up the bowl?

    Also does anyone know where to get a beaker?
    I am running around with M4A1s and M60s have mechanical traps and 260 skill pages but no bloody chemistry station because no beaker.
